Xiaomi Mi 11 starting at Rs 45,000 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC launched in India

Smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched 11 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Made of an E4 light-emitting material, along with triple rear cameras, with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, the price of Xiaomi Mi11 begins from Rs 45,000 and goes up to Rs 52,800.

costs around Rs 45,000 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs about 48,300 and the 12GB RAM + 256GB model is priced at around Rs 52,800. 

The sale of the smartphone — which will be available in anti-glare (AG) frost glass finish in horizon blue, frost white and midnight grey colours — will begin on January 1, 2021. There will also be a vegan leather version in Lilac Purple and Honey Beige shades.

The device runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12.5 and features a 6.81-inch 2K WQHD (1,440×3,200 pixels) AMOLED display with 1500 nits of peak brightness, 5000000:1 contrast ratio, and 515ppi of pixel density. The display with a hole-punch design also includes up to 120Hz refresh rate that can go even down to 30Hz — depending on the usage. There is also a touch sampling rate of 480Hz.

Further, the display offers DCI-P3 colour gamut and supports HDR10+ and Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC) that was featured on the OnePlus 8 Pro earlier. There is also the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top, and 8,192 levels of brightness adjustment. 

The connectivity options for Mi 11 comprise , 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port. It also has stereo speakers backed by Harman Kardon audio, along with an in-display fingerprint sensor that doubles as a heart rate monitor.

The smartphone also has a 4,600mAh battery that supports Mi TurboCharge 55W wired and 50W . There is also 10W wireless reverse charging support. The phone comes with 8.06mm of thickness and 196 grams of weight.
