“REDMI Note Series has continually made premium products more accessible, and delivered premium quality across every product we make,” said Anne Wang, REDMI marketing director, Xiaomi International. “Guided by that focus, it has earned the trust of users around the globe throughout its 12-year history.”

Battery technology

The Pro Max model uses a silicon-carbon battery, a that allows higher energy density than conventional lithium-ion cells by incorporating silicon into the battery’s anode. This enables the 9,210mAh capacity within a standard smartphone form factor.

Xiaomi claims the battery system includes smart management features that will maintain battery health for up to six years of use. The device supports 100W HyperCharge, the company’s fast-charging technology that can restore a full day’s battery in 20 minutes when Boost Mode is enabled. The phone also offers 27W reverse charging, allowing it to power other devices.
