In an interview with Tech Observer Magazine, Cdr Sreeram Kashichenula (Retd), Director – Consulting, , who moderated a panel discussion on the topic of ‘Startups as key pillar of Indigenisation Strategy for Defence Sector,' discusses his thoughts and experiences regarding the National Summit 2022.

He said that the overall experience has been great. “There has been lot of enthusiasm and a lot of responses to the questions. In fact I had a multitude of questions as a moderator towards the panelists but I could precisely ask just about four questions. There has been so much of a response even from the audience. It was really enthralling. It was excellent and I'm rather very happy with the ongoings,” Sreeram said.

National DefTech Summit was organised by Tech Observer Magazine on November 25, 2022 at The Oberoi in New Delhi. The event focused on role of digital transformation, indigenisation and modernisation in India's defence sector.

Over 150 top leaders from the ministry of defence, the three services (Army, Navy, and Air Force), and important stakeholders such as Reliance, Adani Group, L&T, Mahindra, Tata, Arubaito, and Airbus, as well as defence startups like as New Space and Botlab Dynamics, attended the summit.

The day long event was supported by The Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), Qlik, Startup Odisha, Arubaito, Airbus, India Future Foundation, Felix Advisory and Alliance Mantra.
