In a high-profile management change, Ford India has announced to elevate Kapil Sharma as the general manager for consumer marketing in India. Sharma is at present heading the company’s PR, communications, and CSR initiatives. Sharma will assume a new charge on June 1.
Ford India in a statement stated that Sharma will continue to fulfill his present responsibilities as head of communications. In this new role, Sharma will be responsible for steering the Ford Brand and business forward with integrated marketing and communications efforts.
Sharma will report directly to RahulGautam – vice president, marketing and Anurag Mehrotra – president and managing director, Ford India along with IMG Comms leader, Sinead Phipps.
