Xiaomi launches Mi10i in India starting at Rs 20,999

Xiaomi has launched Mi 10i starting at Rs 20,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage version. The smartphone – a rebranded version of Mi 10 Lite (global version) – comprises a 108 MP primary camera and Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. It has a quad-camera setup on the rear housed inside a circular camera module.

The 6GB RAM and 128GB version of Mi10i will cost Rs 21,999, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB version will cost Rs 23,999. The phone will go on sale from January 7 onwards.

Mi10i has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 16MP front snapper along with a 4,820 mAh battery with support for 33W fast-charging. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 shield on the back and front sides of the device.

It is a global 5G chipset, and supports 120Fps gaming as well. The 8-nm design gives better battery performance. It is set to go up against existing mid-range 5G phones like Moto G 5G, OnePlus Nord, Vivo V20 Pro and others.

One of the highlights of this smartphone is that it includes 5G capabilities coupled with the 108MP camera at the back.

According to Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director, Xiaomi India, the phone is priced under Rs 30,000. So, it is the first phone to offer such a camera at this price range.

Xiaomi Mi 10i will be available in Atlantic Blue and Pacific Sunrise colours.

Jain also said that the Mi 10i 5G was tailored for its fans in India, also claiming the ‘i’ in Mi 10i stands for India.
