Months after conducting SSC JE 2017 examination, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has now officially released the SSC JE 2017 Answer Keys for Paper – I. Now, all the candidates who have appeared in SSC JE 2017 examination can go to the website of SSC at ssc.nic.in to check the SSC JE 2017 Answer Keys for Paper – I. Both the question papers and answer keys have been uploaded. The candidates can take a print out of their respective Question Paper(s) along with the Final Answer Keys by using their Roll No, Examination Password and Date of the Examination. According to SSC, “this facility will be available for the candidates up to 5 pm of May 30, 2018.
In a notification, SSC said that this was being done to bring greater transparency in the examination system and in the interest of the candidates. The computer-based examination for recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination 2017 (Paper-I) was held from January 22 to January 29, 2018 at different centres all over the country. The result of Paper-I of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination 2017 for appearing in Paper-II has been declared on April 4, 2018, and uploaded on the website of the SSC.
SSC JE 2017 examination is an open competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Junior Engineers Group-B (Non-Gazetted) posts. The online application process for SSC JE Application had started on October 21 and ended on November 17, 2017. The examination was held from January 22 to January 29, 2018.
This year, a large number of vacancies have been notified in different government departments. SSC had said that the number of vacancies in the organisations advertised had not been finalised. The list of organisations may also undergo a change depending upon vacancies available therein, before processing of results. Only male candidates are eligible for the posts of Junior Engineers in Director General Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Ministry of Defence.
