The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the JEE Main result 2018. Now, the Main result 2018 is available at the official website – jeemain.nic.in and . JEE Main Results 2018 is also an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced). The candidates who qualify in this exam will be able to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2018. As many as 2,24,000 students will qualify for JEE Advanced. Candidates who had appeared for the test can visit the official website of JEE Mains to check their rank. The results for JEE Main is available on the official website of Joint Entrance Examination at jeemain.nic.in. In addition, same will also be available at cbseresults.nic.in.

The 2018 IIT JEE Main examination was held in two mode – computer-based and offline. The Computer-Based Mode (Online) was conducted on April 15 and 16, and the offline paper was conducted on April 8. According to reports, as many as 10.43 lakh aspirants in 112 cities in India and abroad gave the Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (Main). The offline exam, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), was held in 104 cities across 1,613 centres across the country and in eight centres in as many countries abroad.

CBSE has informed that the sixth edition of JEE (Main) 2018 offline exam was held for approximately 10,43,739 candidates registered for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in NITs, IITs, and other centrally funded technical institutes. As many as 6,46,814 boys, 2,66,745 girls, and three transgenders appeared in these examinations.

Steps to check IIT JEE Main Result 2018

  • Go to the official website of JEE mains result at cbseresults.nic.in
  • Once you are there, enter the home page of the website click on the ‘JEE mains 2018 Results’ link
  • After that enter your Roll number and Date of birth
  • Submit details to view your Results
  • Check your result and save the same for future references
