Tamil Nadu School Education Department will declare TNBSE SSLC Class 10 Results 2017 at 10 am today. “SSLC March 2017 Examination Results expected on 19th May 2017 at 10:00 Hrs” said a notification on the government website. Once announced, the results will be available at tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.nic.in
The examinations for TNBSE SSLC Class 10 were conducted in the month of March and according to reports, the paper evaluation began in April and was completed last week of April. In 2011, government merged Board of Secondary Education and Board of Higher Secondary Examinations to form a single board Board for School Examination in Tamil Nadu. TNBSE conduct examinations for Class 10th and Class 12th.
Earlier on May 12, board has declared TNBSE HSC Class 12 results in which nearly 8,98,763 students had appeared. The board saw the marginal improvement in Class 12 performance. The overall pass percentage marginally increased to 92.1%, as compared to 91.4% last year.
The Directorate of Government Examinations which is the parent body of TNBSE is responsible for conducting these exams. It has has 7 regional offices at Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli , Chennai, Cuddalore and Vellore. Apart from the academic stream examination in academic fields, this department is conducting various vocational stream examinations also. At present this department in conducting exams for about 25 lakh students every year.

- Click on SSLC March 2017 Results
- Enter your Registration number, Date of Birth and click on ‘Get Marks' option.
- TNBSE SSLC Class 10 Results 2017 will be displayed
- Take a print or digitise your results for easy and quick references.
