UP Bhulekh project to focus on digitisation of Khata, Khatauni, Khewat, Khasra: Pravir Kumar

While talking about the Bhulekh project during a panel discussion at Digital Senate Series, Lucknow, Pravir Kumar, Chairman, Uttar Pradesh Revenue Board said his organisation has digitised land records such as Khata, Khatauni, Khewat, Khasra numbers and the same is being provided to citizen .

According to him, this has substantially helped in reducing the land dispute cases across the state. Kumar said that now Board of Revenue is looking to make the updation details in real time including the map and geospatial .

“In the next phase of this project, all the ‘khasra‘ will be digitized. This will allow the to offer precise projection about produce,” said Kumar, adding that people will be able to know information such as how many Mango trees are planted across the state.
