Amid the buzz of winding up its Indian operations, (Vi) has announced the of as its Consumer Digital Delivery Lead.

A top techie, Bhat was earlier working as Lead IT Manager driving digital initiatives for distributive trade markets in , the company said in a statement.

“Poonam has joined Vodafone Idea Limited as Executive Vice President (EVP) – Digital. She is a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Digital Strategy and Transformation, Product Management, Technology Solutions, and Delivery of Global IT Programs,” the company said.

Further former Reliance Communications (RCom) group chief technology officer (CTO) Gulshan Khurana is likely to join as executive vice president – Technology Strategy Vodafone Idea Limited.

Khurana brings along a nearly three-decade-long experience in the telecom sector. He started his career as an engineer with the state-run Center for Development of Telematics (C-DoT).

The third-largest Indian telecom company is busy picking top minds to revive operations. It has recently also appointed Sheena Joseph as the vice president of customer service of enterprise business to further strengthen its enterprise focus in the country.

Joseph's appointment came shortly after Vi appointed Alok Srivastava to lead the enterprise business for North and East circles. Recently, Shabnam Syed joined as Executive Vice President of postpaid marketing.

Vi also appointed Reema Jain as the Chief Digital Officer while Tanuja Rai Pradhan joined as Head- Consumer Insights. The telco also appointed Sanjay Jolly as Executive Vice President (EVP) – Technology, Hub Operations last month.

The Mumbai-based telco's quarterly revenue slide to Rs 9,607.6 crore from Rs 10,894.1 crore in the October-December period, while its consolidated annual income fell by nearly 8 % to Rs 42,126.4 crore from Rs 45,996.8 crore a year ago, according to Q4 results.
