Vodex raises $2 million in seed funding from Unicorn India Ventures and Pentathlon Ventures

Vodex, a startup specialising in GenAI technology for outbound voice calling, announced it has secured $2 million in seed funding from Unicorn India Ventures and Pentathlon Ventures. The funding follows the company’s achievement of $1 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within its first operational year.

The newly acquired funds will be used for global expansion, with plans to quadruple the business size within the next year.

The firm, co-founded by Anshul Shrivastava and CTO Kumar Saurav in 2022, aims to enhance outbound sales calls by using GenAI to simulate human-like voice interactions. The approach is designed to improve customer engagement and operational efficiency by reducing reliance on traditional , said the company.

“GenAI has multiple use cases and more importantly to transform the landscape of tech businesses worldwide. We see disruptive capabilities in Vodex to emerge as a formidable player by applying the power of GenAI and to help enterprises manage their engagements more efficiently,” said Bhaskar Majumdar, Managing Partner at Unicorn India Ventures.

Previously, Vodex raised a pre-seed round from 100X.VC and has consistently focused on improving its GenAI technology to better serve its clientele. The company’s mission revolves around automating sales processes with AI-powered virtual agents capable of engaging in natural, human-like conversations.
