T-Hub onboards 13 technology startups for product development program RubriX

The five-month programme will assist businesses in developing scalable and sustainable business models, as well as quick product development and prototyping, says T-Hub.

T-Hub, the -supported startup incubator, announced the selection of 13 startups for its inaugural product development programme RubriX, which aims to offer a global perspective to early-stage technology startups’ product development.

The Hyderabad-based startup hub reported receiving 135 applications from across the country in sectors including Fintech, Blockchain, PropTech, Sustainability, HealthTech, EdTech, Electric Mobility, Human Resources Technology, eCommerce, Mobility, IoT and SaaS, Embedded Systems, Enterprise, and AgriTech.

The five-month programme will assist enterprises in developing scalable and sustainable business models, as well as enabling quick product development and prototyping, as well as leadership development and mentorship. By the end of the programme, the startups will have a market-ready Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

Humnplus Technologies, Flex Fit, Nansys, and Yellow Board are among the firms shortlisted for the programme.

“We are impressed with the first cohort of new technologies and the diverse entrepreneurs behind them. T-Hub, through this program, is on a mission to be at the forefront to address the barriers faced by the early-stage startups in product development. Our comprehensive program and global ecosystem of partners will help startups speed up and de-risk their production process, bridge market gaps and accelerate their path to commercialisation,” stated T-Hub CEO M Srinivas Rao.

T-Hub stated that the cohort began working in a hybrid environment on April 19. Its network of Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) and product specialists will equip early-stage technology firms with the know-how and knowledge necessary to progress from prototype to MVP. The programme will offer beta and pilot opportunities, as well as in-depth courses on design thinking, lean startup, and agile principles. It will use gamification to track the entrepreneurs’ progress through the program’s milestones and objectives.

The program is also supported by the Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD), Conquering Imaginations, Expectations and Dreams (CIED), , T-Works and IIT-Madras Park.

T-Hub claimed that to date it has impacted over 1800 startups through various programs and initiatives, has over 600 global and national corporate partners and has provided 2000 mentor connects to help the startup scale.
