Key Points
- MEIL partners with UAE-backed Analog to deploy AI-driven infrastructure systems across India
- Partnership spans mobility, urban systems, robotics, public safety and industrial operations
- Announcement follows foundational agreements signed at Telangana Rising Global Summit
Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) has signed a strategic partnership with Analog, an Abu Dhabi-headquartered artificial intelligence company backed by G42, to deploy what the companies describe as Physical Intelligence systems across India.
Physical Intelligence refers to machine systems that perceive, interpret and act within real-world environments through continuous learning rather than fixed programming. The partnership announced on Tuesday will target infrastructure, mobility, industrial operations, public safety and urban development projects.
The agreement deepens technology ties between India and the United Arab Emirates, building on foundational agreements signed at the Telangana Rising Global Summit earlier this year. Analog was founded by Alex Kipman, formerly of Microsoft, and has received lead investment from G42, the Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence and cloud computing firm.
Deployment scope and focus areas
The two companies said deployments will span intelligent infrastructure and mobility systems, smart urban environments, advanced sensing and operational intelligence platforms, robotics and spatial computing applications, and AI-enabled industrial transformation.
Beyond project deployments, the partnership will invest in long-term capability creation, talent development and ecosystem building in India, the companies said, without disclosing specific investment figures or timelines.
PV Krishna Reddy, managing director, MEIL, said the partnership aligned with the company’s infrastructure focus. “The future of infrastructure is intelligent, connected, and adaptive. That is exactly what this partnership builds,” he said.
Kipman said India represented a significant opportunity for the company. “The engineering talent here is extraordinary. The infrastructure ambition is extraordinary,” he said. “Physical Intelligence belongs in this moment. And MEIL is the right partner to help us build it.”
MEIL is a Hyderabad-headquartered infrastructure and engineering company with operations across irrigation, energy, transportation, hydrocarbons and manufacturing. The company has delivered projects including tunnels, ports, highways and water systems across India and internationally.
Analog, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, works with governments and enterprises on systems that integrate sensing, computation and physical-world interaction. The company’s focus areas include intelligent cities, autonomous infrastructure and robotics applications.
The announcement reinforces Hyderabad and Telangana’s positioning as a destination for advanced technology investment following the state government‘s push to attract AI and semiconductor companies.
