The capital will be used to accelerate company's product development, market expansion, and enhancement of its systems, said a statement.

Founded in March 2021 by Indraneel Gupta, Vishal Chandapeta and Armaan Kandhari, company's flagship product, the Portl Studio, integrates to offer personalised fitness and wellness experiences at home, in luxury hotels, and in gyms.

The Smart Mirror features a 43-inch 4K screen, bio-sensors, HD cameras, and edge-AI processing, providing real-time form feedback, health monitoring, and telemedicine integrations, said the company.

With the new funding, the startup said it plans to expand its product range by introducing connected strength systems for users of all fitness levels. These systems will include adjustable digital weight technology and multiple training modes. The company also aims to launch new products for the digital health and wellness sector, combining technology, content, and hardware expertise.

“This latest funding round validates our vision and commitment to making health and fitness accessible to everyone. By integrating advanced AI and innovative hardware, we aim to empower individuals to achieve their wellness goals seamlessly and effectively,” said Indraneel Gupta, Founder and CEO of Portl.

Ashwin Raguraman, Founding Partner at Bharat Innovation Fund, said: “Despite its drop-off from the peaks in 2021, the Home Fitness segment continues to excite us. Portl's advanced AI technology provides form feedback across a variety of personalised fitness regimes, including Yoga, HIIT, and Dance. The design and functionality of Portl's product truly make it a world-class offering.”

“We are delighted to announce our involvement in Portl's transformative journey. The company said that its product is driven by AI personalisation engine, which offers users customised workout plans that adapt to their fitness levels, daily performance, and preferences in real-time.
