BENGALURU – Medical technology firm HRS Navigation has raised $5 million (around Rs 42 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round to expand its surgical navigation systems globally and strengthen its manufacturing and research capabilities.
The funding round was led by GVFL, Physis Capital, Sathguru Catalysers, India EXIM Bank and KITVEN, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
HRS Navigation said the funds will be used to accelerate product innovation and scale up production of its easyNav platform, which provides real-time guidance to surgeons during complex cranial, spine and ENT surgeries. The company also plans to expand its market presence internationally.
“Our mission is to make advanced surgical navigation accessible to every hospital and surgeon so that patients across India and beyond can benefit from precision surgery,” said Arpit Paliwal, Founder and Director of HRS Navigation.

Founded by Arpit and Shweta Paliwal, the Bengaluru-based company designs and manufactures surgical navigation systems in India.
According to the company, its easyNav platform has been used in more than 20,000 procedures and can integrate with existing operating room infrastructure, making it adaptable for hospitals of different sizes.
