has launched its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, which are set to be produced at the company's facility in Noida, according to J B Park, South West Asia CEO and President. The announcement was made on Thursday, indicating a significant stride for Samsung's manufacturing and R&D capabilities, particularly within India.

Park commented on the achievement, highlighting the importance of this move to Indian consumers. These developments would enable the purchase of advanced foldable smartphones made domestically.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5's price commences at Rs 154,999, although pre-book customers will receive incentives such as a memory upgrade to 512GB and cash back offers, bringing the effective price down to Rs 141,999. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 carries a similar pricing structure. The initial cost is Rs 99,999, but the application of the same offers reduces the effective price to Rs 79,999.

Samsung's Galaxy Tab S9 series also joins the product line-up. Prices range between Rs 72,999 and Rs 133,999, based on size and connectivity variants. Applying the provided offers, the final price can vary between Rs 58,999 and Rs 113,999. An interesting inclusion by Samsung is the option to upgrade from smartphones, facilitating easier access to these tablet devices. All older smartphones will be eligible for the upgrade bonus.

Adding to the comprehensive range of new products, the Galaxy Watch 6 series is also launching. Prices will range between Rs 29,999 and Rs 43,999, depending on model and connectivity. After applying the given offers, the final price ranges between Rs 19,999 and Rs 33,999. The company has also made provision for upgrades from smartphones for the Watch 6 series. Devices with IMEI numbers will qualify for this benefit.

Samsung opened pre-booking for all the newly launched devices with immediate effect, and sales will commence from August 18. The products will be displayed at Samsung stores across India from today, and they will be available for purchase at more than 10,000 locations from August onwards.
