With these launches, the company aims to strengthen its presence in India’s premium smartphone market, offering advanced camera features, extended battery life, and high-performance capabilities tailored to tech-savvy Indian consumers, said a statement.
Both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro focus on enhancing user experience with a lighter, more compact design, addressing the market’s demand for high-end devices that balance performance with portability.
Find X8 and Find X8 Pro: Features, Price and Expected Launch Date in India
The Find X8 model features a 6.59-inch display with an ultra-narrow 1.45mm border and weighs just 193 grams, making it slim and easy to handle. The device is expected to come in Star Grey, Space Black, and Shell Pink.
For users who prefer larger displays, the Find X8 Pro offers a 6.78-inch quad-curved glass design with Oppo’s dual-periscope telephoto camera technology, catering to those interested in enhanced photography and immersive screen experiences. This model will be available in Space Black and Pearl White, with each Pearl White variant featuring pearlescent pattern.
Oppo’s Find X8 Series emphasises advanced camera functionality, a strong trend in the Indian market, where mobile photography is highly popular. The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are equipped with Hasselblad Master Camera System, which includes the AI Telescope Zoom feature capable of magnification at 10x and beyond, as well as Lightning Snap technology for rapid, multi-frame photography.
In terms of battery life and performance, the Find X8 includes a 5630mAh battery, while the Find X8 Pro is powered by a larger 5910mAh battery. Both models run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which aims to deliver smooth, efficient performance even during prolonged usage, catering to users’ expectations of powerful devices suitable for multitasking and extended usage.
OPPO’s ColorOS 15: Enhanced User Experience for Indian Smartphone Users
Expected pricing for the Find X8 in India is projected around ₹60,000, with the Find X8 Pro estimated to start around ₹75,000, placing both models in the premium segment. While these are estimates, Oppo has historically priced its devices competitively in India, and these models are likely to attract attention from consumers seeking flagship features within premium price brackets.
In addition, the new ColorOS 15 brings refreshed visuals, an intuitive interface, and a suite of AI-powered tools to optimise functionality and efficiency. The software complements the hardware, enhancing the user experience by improving navigation and adding smart, time-saving features.
