iBall launches 4G Tablet PCs for Aadhaar authentication

Priced at Rs 18,999, the device comes with the fingerprint sensor, consists of biometric authentication and it is certified for Aadhaar verification.

Homegrown consumer electronic maker iBall has launched a range of based Tablet Pcs aimed at authentication programme. Priced at Rs 18,999, the device comes with the Fingerprint , consists of biometric authentication and it is certified for Aadhaar verification.

The company claimed that with the help of Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification (STQC), it can scan and record to give verification and identification of a person for Aadhaar authentication.

As far innard is the concern, the iBall 4G Tablet PC runs on 7.0 Nougat and is powered by Quad-core 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex A53 64-bit processor. It comes with 1GB or 2GB RAM along with 8GB storage which can be expanded upto 32GB with the help of micro SD Card.

The device has 5 megapixel rear and front camera. On the connectivity front, the iBall 4G supports dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), multiple USB ports, USB OTG, Micro HDMI, Cast Screen, Bluetooth 4.0, USB tethering. It also comes with optional LAN port. The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery.
