boAt has launched an eight-model party speaker series called PartyPal, featuring built-in karaoke vocal tuning technology and priced between ₹9,499 and ₹24,999. The Delhi-based audio brand said the range is designed for home entertainment, karaoke nights and small celebrations.
The PartyPal series comprises eight models: PartyPal 650, PartyPal 600 Plus, PartyPal 500, PartyPal 390 Plus, PartyPal 230, PartyPal Boom, PartyPal Ultra and PartyPal Rumbl. All models are now available on the boAt website, Amazon India, Flipkart and retail outlets across the country.
The lineup’s central feature is Karaoke ProTuner, a real-time auto-tuning system that adjusts vocal pitch during karaoke sessions. The company said the feature is intended to make karaoke more accessible to users regardless of singing ability. The speakers also include RGB lighting that synchronises with audio playback, DJ sound effects and support for both wired and wireless microphones.
Gaurav Nayyar, CEO, boAt, said the series shows changing consumer expectations from party speakers. “Music has always brought people together, and increasingly, consumers want products that make those shared moments more engaging and interactive,” Nayyar said.
“With the new PartyPal series, we are going beyond powerful sound to create a complete entertainment experience built around how India celebrates,” he added.
PartyPal specifications
The flagship PartyPal 650 delivers 300W output and comes with two UHF wireless microphones included. The model features DJ tracks, a dedicated bass drop pad for live sound effects and support for the boAt Hearables App, which allows users to customise sound profiles and lighting patterns. The speaker includes built-in wheels for portability and offers up to five hours of battery life on a single charge.
Connectivity options across the PartyPal 650 include Bluetooth 5.3, TWS mode for pairing two speakers, AUX input, USB, TF card slot, guitar input and wired microphone support. The company said the TWS pairing mode allows two PartyPal units to function as a stereo pair for larger gatherings.
The remaining seven models in the series offer varying output levels and feature sets at lower price points, though boAt has not disclosed individual specifications for each model. All units share the Karaoke ProTuner feature and RGB lighting as standard.
Party speaker segment
The launch positions boAt in the growing Indian party speaker segment, where portable units with karaoke functionality have gained traction since the pandemic. In addition, according to multiple reports, home entertainment spending increased significantly after 2020 as consumers invested in equipment for private gatherings rather than commercial venues.

boAt, founded in 2016 and owned by Imagine Marketing, has established a significant presence in the audio accessories market through aggressive pricing and wide distribution. The company sells earphones, headphones, speakers and smartwatches through both online and offline retail channels.
The party speaker category in India includes offerings from JBL, Sony, Zebronics and domestic brands at various price points. boAt’s PartyPal series enters the mid-range segment, positioned below premium offerings from international brands but above entry-level domestic alternatives.
The company said the PartyPal range targets consumers who want combined audio, karaoke and lighting functionality in a single unit rather than assembling separate components. Nayyar said boAt aimed to make “great entertainment more accessible, spontaneous and memorable for everyone.”
