Chinese smartphone maker Zenfone is planning to launch its next generation Zenfones in May 2017, says an unverified report. The company that recently debuted Zenfone 3 at CES which is yet to hit shelves is doing this to increase its sales in 2017, says the report.

Earlier in a statement, CEO Jerry Shen said that he plans to double sales in 2017 and aims to ship over 20M devices.

There has not been any official announcement about device but some rumour mill suggests the specs to be 5.2-inch with 4850 mAh
