After a prolonged wait of over four years, global technology major Google is set to launch the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro in India. The last top Pixel smartphone launched by the company was Pixel 3 in 2018. After this the company only brought the Pixel's ‘a' series smartphones to India.
As per the latest campaign on Indian e-commerce portal, Flipkart, the new Pixel 7 series phones will soon be up for grab in India. The banner on Flipkart's app reads, “Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are on deck.” The teaser reiterates that Google's next-generation in-house chipset, the Tensor G2 will power the two phones.
Google has also confirmed the launch of Pixel 7 and 7 Pro in India through its India Twitter handle. It is however, not known when the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will be launching in India, except that the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will be “coming soon” to India and will be available through Flipkart, similar to previous Google Pixel smartphones.
Google unveils the Pixel 7 series on October 6, and the two smartphones – Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro – are expected to go on pre-orders on the same day in the US. As for sales, it could begin two weeks after the launch on October 18.
