With the Covid-19 pandemic hitting the world and video calling becoming a new normal, Google Duo and Google Meet hosted over one trillion minutes of video calls across the globe in 2020.
The company said in a post that with a Gmail account, meet calls are unlimited through March 31, 2021, so that families can enjoy holiday traditions without interruptions.
Google this year had added a Meet tab in Gmail that allows people to jump from an email to a video call just with the help of a click.
