TCS bags engineering and IoT contract from Fortive Corporation

India's IT consulting firm Tata Consultancy Services () said that has chosen TCS as the preferred partner for providing , solutions and services to its operating companies. As part of this partnership, TCS will jointly work with Fortive to explore mutual business and go-to-market opportunities that incorporate Fortive's products and technologies into TCS projects, allowing for potential new offerings that leverage skills, resources, and intellectual property from both companies, said a statement.

“TCS is delighted to continue its relationship with Fortive as its preferred global technology partner of choice. TCS Engineering Services, Digital and IoT Solutions offer a wealth of functionalities that will allow Fortive to more easily develop, deploy, and launch products and services to the market for navigating and taking advantage of the opportunities in the new Business 4.0 era,” said Regu Ayyaswamy, Head, Engineering Services and IoT, TCS.

Barbara Hulit, Senior Vice President, Fortive, said, “This agreement represents one example of the way we are accelerating our digital strategy through collaboration. TCS is an outstanding partner with strong experience in delivering next generation engineering, digital and IoT solutions that will enhance the value we bring to our customers.”

TCS offers a consulting-led, cognitive powered, integrated portfolio of IT, Business & Technology Services, and engineering. This is delivered through its Location Independent Agile delivery model. TCS has more than 400,000 consultants in 46 countries. The company generated consolidated revenues of $19.09 billion for year ended March 31, 2018.
