SAS names Tech Data as regional distributor partner for India

Tech Data, a subsidiary of TD SYNNEX, will become the regional distributor for SAS solutions in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, India, and the Philippines.

Data Analytics firm SAS has signed a global agreement with IT distribution and services company , marking a strategic expansion into various geographies.

As part of the agreement, Tech Data, a subsidiary of TD SYNNEX, will become the regional distributor for SAS solutions in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, India, and the .

“Our new agreement with Tech Data will help us improve scalability, reach untapped markets, and deliver results for our customers alongside our valued SAS partners,” he added.

Tech Data said its role in this partnership involves significant investments in emerging technologies like data, (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT). “These investments aim to provide partners with access to expertise, aggregated solutions, and business enablement tools, all designed to promote data-driven outcomes.”

The company said that SAS’s comprehensive partner ecosystem, industry-specific offerings, and ongoing innovation are expected to align well with Tech Data’s extensive operational reach, especially in sectors like financial services and .

Tech Data also said it has developed 14 pre-bundled solutions. These solutions are expected to facilitate faster deployment, increased agility, and accelerated digital transformation rates for customers.
