NTT DATA, a Japanese digital business and IT services company has completed its acquisition of Niveus Solutions, a cloud engineering company specialising in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services headquartered in Udupi and Mangalore. The transaction follows the definitive agreement announced in November 2024. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The acquisition strengthens NTT DATA’s position in GCP services and expands its capabilities in cloud modernisation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. Niveus Solutions adds over 1,000 GCP engineering professionals to NTT DATA’s team, increasing its expertise in cloud transformation solutions. According to industry estimates, worldwide spending on public cloud services is projected to reach $679 billion in 2024 and exceed $1 trillion by 2027.
