Reliance Group’s Unlimit launches AIS-140 compliant location tracking system for public transport vehicles

IoT service provider which is a part of the Reliance ADA Group has launched AIS-140 compliant location tracking system for the automotive vendors across India. The company informed that the newly launched solution has been designed keeping in view the AIS 140 guidelines, Indian operating conditions and includes pre-certified devices, backend application and analytics, managed cellular connectivity from leading service providers, and deployment of services.

The company also claimed that the GPS device will provide a comprehensive end-to-end solution in terms of deployment and operations of more efficiently, securely and by significantly helping reduce the associated operational costs.

Unlimit said that the Government of India, has directed all the state governments to enforce the standards, equip AIS 140 compliant GPS tracking devices with the supporting software for all passenger-carrying buses and other public transport vehicles effective January 1, 2019.
