Aimtron Electronics said it has secured an international order worth $3.946 million (about ₹34.7 crore) to manufacture and export 200,000 internet-of-things (IoT) devices over the next 12 to 15 months.
The electronics systems design and manufacturing company said the order was placed by a leading global client and will help strengthen its export pipeline. The company added that the contract is expected to contribute to foreign exchange inflows and support employment as production scales up.
“Securing this international order demonstrates the trust global companies are placing in India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem,” said Mukesh Vasani, Founder and Chairman, Aimtron Electronics.
He said the deal aligned with the government’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat‘ programmes and would help expand India’s advanced manufacturing capacity.
India’s IoT market is expected to reach $7.12 billion in 2025 and grow at more than 20 per cent annually through 2029, according to industry estimates.
Aimtron said it is focusing on end-to-end services including circuit design, assembly, testing and system integration to cater to both domestic and international clients.
Founded in 2011, Aimtron Electronics operates facilities in Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru, with its parent company headquartered in Chicago, United States.
The firm provides design and manufacturing services for sectors including automotive, medical technology, aerospace, industrial equipment, gaming, and robotics.
