Career tech-startup Board Infinity buys out CXO platform Leadup Universe

The entire team of Leadup Universe, including its co-founders and investors, will join Board Infinity. However, the brands will be separately retained.

Technology that connects career aspirants, institutes to top coaches and companies for career guidance, Board Infinity has acquired CXO career platform Leadup Universe, which creates learning programs and career pathways for CXOs, for an undisclosed sum.

Following the deal, the entire team of Leadup Universe, including its co-founders and investors, will join Board Infinity. However, the brands will be separately retained.

Founded in 2021 by Mayank Verma and Rashmi Mandloi, Leadup has university tie-ups, an exclusive CXO Club and strategic programs for executives. Sumesh Nair, cofounder and CEO of Board Infinity said the acquisition would enable his startup to facilitate higher lifetime value per customer over a 20-year period using the newly created career graph product.

Nair said Board Infinity aims to leverage the strengths of both companies and create programs for the technology and management space for mid-career and late-career professionals while.

“We have disrupted learning engagement in the senior executive career space with more than 95% customers completing our courses enabled by a hybrid experience and CXO mentoring compared with the typical average of 50% in self-paced courses,” Leadup’s Verma said.

Sandeep Sinha from Lumis Partners, Pankaj Bansal, partner at Work Universe & Group CEO of People Strong, Sulbha Rai (CPO at .com), and N S Rajan, Former CHRO of Tata Sons are investors and advisors in Leadup Universe.
