With the aim to emphasize the role of migrating to cloud adoption during the pandemic and the benefits of implementing VDI/DaaS in the foreseeable future, Tech Observer Magazine in association with and Citrix organised a special webinar focused on — Getting Ready For .

Over 150 participants, speakers and experts joined on a single platform to address the current challenges, ongoing solutions, and reasons to adapt to the hybrid style of working. Most of the speakers were of the view that integrated platforms powered by digital technologies have ensured business continuity for enterprises of all sizes during the pandemic and accelerated many organizations' digital transformation journeys.

They said that hybrid working is a reality and are accelerating their remote workplace strategy by implementing tools and technologies. But providing enterprise-grade security and experience to remote workers isn't easy. A secure and scalable distributed workforce requires rethinking where and how teams work.

Participating as the keynote speaker, Prasanna Lohar, VP-Technology, DCB Bank said that hybrid working is a reality and businesses should put in place technology infra to enable it. “Hybrid working has become a reality. As a result, businesses must concentrate on developing a safe and scalable distributed workforce strategy that is supported by technology. Employees demand work access from any device, anywhere,” he said.

During his presentation, Vijay Jayaraman, Director, Systems Engineering, emphasized employee experience and security. “Employees are looking for secure access from any device, anywhere. And businesses are looking for a low-cost, simple solution to securely deliver apps and desktops to employees,” said he said, adding that Citrix technology and solution enable this.

The virtual also witnessed a powerful panel discussion moderated by Swapnil Bhatnagar, Senior Research Director, Avasant. The speakers included Tejas Shah, Deputy Director IT, Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal, Dharnidhar Dubey, AVP-Technology, IIFL, Vijay Jayaraman, Director, Systems Engineering, Citrix and Ajit Aloz, Head Sales and Cloud Practice, Anunta Tech.

“CIOs are looking at the customer experience they provide at all phases of the customer journey as a key difference for retaining customers and ensuring a long-term future,” said  Ajit Aloz, Anunta Tech's Head of Sales and Cloud Practice.

The speakers were of the view that to compete in today's world, businesses must consistently provide an extraordinary experience for their consumers. A remarkable customer experience is essential for every company's long-term growth.
