Data and analytics firm Ugam to hire 1,300 tech professionals this year

The move is in line with the company’s growth strategy and is likely to Ugam's momentum to meet the growing demand for the expertise of analytics and technology across industries

Data and firm Ugam, part of Japanese ad agency Dentsu Group has announced to expand its operations in India and hire as many as 1,300 analytics and technology professionals to strengthen its 3,000-strong workforce this year.

According to Ugam, the move is in line with the company’s growth strategy and is likely to Ugam’s momentum to meet the growing demand for the expertise of analytics and technology across industries. 

The recent pandemic outbreak is also instrumental in driving and acceleration of . In the past seven months, Ugam said it has added more than 1,200 people. These include analysts, DevOps, software engineers, technical architects, and technical leads, many of whom have experience in Adobe, AWS, and Cloud platforms.

Speaking on the new growth plan, Sunil Mirani, CEO and Co-founder, Ugam, said, “this is a time of immense opportunity as businesses truly transform their customer experiences and propositions. Since its inception in 2000, Ugam said it has maintained a growth momentum, with a CAGR of 40 per cent. In 2019, Ugam joined Merkle, a leading technology-enabled, data-driven customer experience management company and part of Dentsu.
