Data and analytics firm Ugam, part of Japanese ad agency Dentsu Group has announced to expand its operations in India and hire as many as 1,300 analytics and technology professionals to strengthen its 3,000-strong workforce this year.
According to Ugam, the move is in line with the company’s growth strategy and is likely to Ugam’s momentum to meet the growing demand for the expertise of analytics and technology across industries.
The recent Covid-19 pandemic outbreak is also instrumental in driving and acceleration of digital transformation. In the past seven months, Ugam said it has added more than 1,200 people. These include analysts, DevOps, software engineers, technical architects, and technical leads, many of whom have experience in Adobe, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms.
