BT has signed a three years deal with NATO’s Communications and Information Agency (NCI) for support services valued at $6.6 million. Under the agreement BT will provide support service to the military alliance’s global operations.
BT said it connects more than 70 NATO locations internationally, including sites spread across the Alliance’s 29 member countries and beyond. Adding BT’s network support services to the agency enables NATO to roll out new solutions within the dynamic environment it operates in, said the company.

NATO is upgrading its infrastructure with modern technology, recently, the military alliance has awarded a contract to the BlackBerry for its SecuSuite for Government solution that can encrypt phone communications at work, at home, or while travelling.
