- Contract covers AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecom and data centre solutions over 18 months
- AI infrastructure component valued at $70 million, the largest segment of the engagement
Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited, a Hyderabad-based technology company listed on the BSE, announced on Monday (10 August) that its US subsidiary has signed a $150 million contract with SpaceX International Ltd, MY, a Malaysia-registered firm, to deliver artificial intelligence infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications and data centre solutions.
The statement of work, issued under a master services agreement dated 9 July 2026, commits the company to a minimum of $150 million in services over an eighteen-month period. The engagement marks Blue Cloud Softech’s largest publicly announced contract for integrated technology infrastructure services.
The contract is divided across four segments. AI infrastructure accounts for $70 million, the largest portion, and includes building clusters of graphics processing units and accelerators, the specialised chips that power machine learning workloads. The remaining value is split between cybersecurity services at $25 million, telecommunications at $25 million and data centre solutions at $30 million.
Under the agreement, Blue Cloud Softech’s US arm will design, build, integrate and operate what the company describes as a sovereign-grade AI compute and data centre platform. Sovereign-grade refers to infrastructure that meets data residency and security requirements set by a national government, typically requiring data to remain within specific geographic boundaries.
Services will be delivered across five phases over six quarterly billing periods. The first phase covers assessment and design work, while the final phase beginning in the sixth quarter transitions to managed operations, where Blue Cloud Softech will run the platform on an ongoing basis.
The technical deliverables include MLOps infrastructure, a set of practices and tools that automate the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models, along with model-serving systems that deliver AI predictions to end users. The cybersecurity component includes a security operations centre equipped with SIEM and SOAR platforms, which are systems that collect security alerts from across an organisation and automate responses to threats.
The telecommunications segment covers core network deployment and a network operations centre, while data centre work includes facility construction, commissioning and disaster recovery capabilities.
Tejesh Kumar Kodali, group chairman, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions, said the engagement represented an important milestone for the company’s AI infrastructure business.
