Consumer goods company Reckitt on Friday announced the elevation of top human resource consultant Smriti Handa as Director – Global Talent Acquisition. Handa has been associated with the company for two years and was earlier serving the role of Regional HR Director, South Asia.
According to the company, Handa carries 17 years of experience in leading various HR functions. Before joining Reckitt, she had been working with Philips for five years. She joined the conglomerate as Head of HR, Philips Healthcare in 2014 and later took the role of Head of HR, Philips Health Systems and Emerging Businesses, South East Asia, and Diversity Lead, in 2016.
Earlier Handa was associated with the top telecom giant, Airtel for over 10 years. She joined the company in 2004 as HR Generalist (B2B business) and after serving in multiple roles, she became Head – Talent Acquisition, Employer Brand & Campus Engagement, India Operations in 2011 and served in the role for over three years before joining Philips.
