Weeks after withdrawing his bid to take over global microblogging platform Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has said that the platform may actually disseminate accurate and relevant in these depressing times.

Mush is known for his open criticism for the media. Last week he termed the media as ‘click-seeking machine dressed up as a truth-seeking machine.’

Musk, who is now facing a legal battle with Twitter following terminating the $44 billion takeover deal, tweeted, “It sure is hard to find a news source that’s accurate, relevant and not totally depressing!” “Old-school versions of The Economist and Jon Stewart Daily Show/Colbert Report were great,” Musk added.

He further tweeted: “Maybe Twitter can become that (source)”. A follower reacted: “In fact, this is everyone’s hope, but Twitter has been making bots”.

The report claimed that “Musk engaged in a brief affair last fall with the wife of Sergey Brin, prompting the Co-founder to file for divorce earlier this year and ending the billionaires’ long friendship.”

The Tesla CEO also said that character assassination attacks had reached a new level this year, but ‘the articles are all nothing-burgers’. He has expressed his displeasure with the unwanted media attention he is getting these days, calling it ‘super sucks’.

The world’s richest man also said that “interaction with almost all Twitter accounts seems to be much lower lately.” He has filed a countersuit against Twitter as part of an ongoing legal dispute that will start from October 17 for five days.
