Industry body IESA onboards K Krishna Moorthy as President, CEO

Moorthy has been associated with Rambus India as the Corporate Vice President and Managing Director, and led the National Semiconductor India Design centre as Managing Director

The India Electronics and Association (IESA) has announced the of veteran techie K Krishna Moorthy as the new President and CEO. IESA is the premier Body representing the ESDM & Intelligent Electronics industry in India.

According to the industry body that represents the ESDM & Intelligent Electronics industry in India, Moorthy has been associated with Rambus India as the Corporate Vice President and Managing Director and led the National Semiconductor India Design centre as Managing Director. He also held key positions in R&D at Bharat Electronics.

“India with its demonstrated design expertise in systems and semiconductor design is well poised to leverage this strength to create a product ecosystem of high-value addition,” Moorthy said in a statement.

At present, IESA represents over 400 companies from the electronics and semiconductor ecosystem. “I am confident that Moorthy will further accelerate the growth of the ESDM (Electronics System Design and Manufacturing) ecosystem and take it to the next level. His prior experience, entrepreneurial skills, and passion will open a plethora of opportunities,” Rajeev Khushu, IESA, Chairman said.
