“Rules cannot be changed after the game has begun. These children, who have worked so hard and have burnt the midnight oil, are entitled to some stability and the only stability they know is the system. Do not instil insecurity in them. Don’t do it (withdrawal of the policy) this year,” the Division Bench of the Court said.

According to report over 10,98,891 students have appeared for the class 12 exams across the country. Once announced, the result will be available at the official website of the board – cbse.nic.in.

In light of court ruling, Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar has called a high-level meeting to deliberate on the court ruling. It will be attended by CBSE chairman Rakesh Kumar Chaturvedi and Department of School Education and Literacy secretary , among others, said reports.
