Amidst reports that Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board will release the UPTET Answer Keys 2017 on Tuesday, large number of candidates hit the official website of the board leading to overloading on the server. Currently, the website is down and showing the error message “HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.”

This is not the first time upbasiceduboard.gov.in has not been able to handle the large traffic, even when UPTET 2017 admit card was released in the first week of October, for many hours candidates were struggling to download their admit card. In fact, the board had to bifurcate the server to ensure smooth download of admit card.

UPTET 2017 Answer Keys releases at upbasiceduboard.gov.in

Multiple reports have appeared online suggesting that UPTET Answer Keys 2017 will be released on Tuesday. UPTET 2017 Examination was held on October 15 across 75 districts in the state. According to reports, a total of 9,76,760 candidates had applied for the examination. After the agitation of Shiksha Mitras, the state government allowed them to appear in UPTET 2017 examination. In fact, they will be given 2.5 marks for each year of experience, upto  maximum 25 marks could be allotted.

UP Teacher Eligibility Test known as UPTET is an entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching in government schools from classes 1 to 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 is for those opting for classes 6 to 8. UPTET 2017 is being conducted by government of Uttar Pradesh to fill various vacancies in education institutes in the state.

To download the UPTET 2017 answer keys candidate should visit the official website of the board. On the website, click on the link that says UPTET 2017 Answer Keys. A pdf page containing answer keys will open. Download the keys and with your answers and if you find any discrepancy, the answer key could be challenged. Board is likely to announce the procedure and last date of challenging the answer keys at the time of releasing the keys.

UPTET Results 2017

One must score minimum of 60% to clear the exam. This means that out of 150 marks, one must score 90 marks to qualify the exam. Candidates qualify the exam will be awarded the UPTET Eligibility Certificate. is valid for 5 years. According to reports, over 5 lakh candidates register for UPTET each year. Last year, about 2,37,620 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 87,353 managed to pass it.
