The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has completed the SSC Stenographer Exam 2017 on September 14, according to experts the difficulty level was easy to moderate.

The (SSC) has completed the SSC Stenographer 2017 on September 14. The SSC Stenographer Exam 2017 began on September 11 and was held on all the days in between – September 12, 13 and 14. Like previous all examination, the September 14, SSC Stenographer Exam 2017 was held in two shifts for two hours each. It has 50 questions each on Reasoning and General Awareness carrying 50 marks. language had 100 questions carrying 100 marks.

Like most of the previous papers, the September 14, SSC Stenographer Exam 2017 could be termed as easy to moderate level. Questions were asked from syllabus. They were of easy nature. A candidate who have prepared thoroughly could have easily solved at least 140 to 145 questions. According to experts, the paper’s difficulty level was easy to moderate.

In both the shifts, under ‘Reasoning‘ section, 2 to 12 questions were asked around analogy, distance and direction test, matrix, syllogisms, blood relation, non-verbal, odd one out, and series competition among others. The difficulty level of all the questions were easy. The attempt of 40 to 45 questions can be termed as good attempt.

General Awareness section was dominated by questions from current affairs. About 12-15 were asked from current affairs. Other segments such as History, Geography, Polity, and Economics Chemistry, Physics, Biology had 4 to 5 questions each. They all were easy to moderate level. An attempt of 25-30 questions should be considered as good attempt.

In English language section, about 15 questions each were asked from Reading Comprehension and Cloze. The other segments such as Synonyms & Antonyms, Fill in the Blanks, Phrases & Idioms, Active & Passive Voice, Error Spotting, Sentence Correction, Direct & Indirect Speech, Sentence had 5 to 10 questions each. They were easy to moderate level. Out of 100 questions, an attempt of 70 could be considered as good attempt.

There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
