The Staff Selection Commission (SCC) has revised the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, 2016 dates. Now, four additional days have been added to the exam. So, instead of September 16 to October 26, now the MTS examination will be held till October 31. On its official website ssc.nic.in, Commission issued a notification stating that the examination which was scheduled from 16.09.2017 to 26.10.2017, would now be held from 16.09.2017 to 31.10.2017, which includes 4 additional days i.e. 27.10.2017, 29.10.2017, 30.10.2017 and 31.10.2017.

The Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination 2017 (Paper-I) which used to be a pen and paper examination is being held in computer mode, due to report of large number of cases of paper leaks. Earlier in July, Commission decided to cancel paper and pen mode exam and announced that exam would be held in online mode.

Recently, SSC has released the SSC MTS 2017 Admit Card for candidates of Eastern Region (Kolkata), Western region (Mumbai) and Madhya Pradesh Region on its official website ssc.nic.in. The candidates who are appearing in the Multi Tasking (non-technical) staff (MTS) re-examination 2016 (Paper-I) can go to the website of SSC to download SSC MTS 2017 admit card.

More than 6 million (above 60 lakh) candidates have applied for 8,300 Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) posts in central government across India. As per the SSC MTS 2017 exam patterns, SSC will first publish the results of paper 1. Only those candidates who have qualified in paper 1 would be allowed to seat for paper 2. Then those who would appear for paper 2 will have to obtain a minimum cut off marks/qualifying marks set by SSC in order to be considered for merit.
