The Staff Selection Commission has declared SSC CHSL Final Results 2016. Finally, as many as 41,326 candidates have qualified for appearing in Typing Test for the post of Lower Division Clerk, Court Clerk, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant; 5,766 candidates have qualified for Skill Test for the post of DEO in CAG and 344 candidates have qualified for Skill Test for the post of DEO in Departments other than CAG.

The marks of qualified and non-qualified candidates with details of their options, preferences, mistakes in skill test etc. has placed on the website of the commission. Now, all the candidates who have appeared in this examinations can check their SSC CHSL Final Results 2016. SSC said that allocation of posts and departments to the qualified candidates has been made on the basis of merit-cum-‘order of preference’ of ‘Post+‘ exercised by the candidates at the time of Document Verification.

The CHSL Tier II 2016 was held on July 9, 2017 for the posts of DEO (Data Entry Operator) / LDC (Lower Division Clerk) / Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant. About 30,57,993 candidates had appeared for Preliminary or Tier I Exam this year, out of which 53,201 candidates qualified for the Tier II exam.

The SSC CHSL 2016 Tier II examination was of descriptive type carrying 100 marks in ‘pen and paper’ mode to assess the writing skills of the candidates. The aspirants were also asked to write an essay of 200-250 words and a letter/application of around 150-200 words. The Tier III of the examination will be skill test/typing test and the final merit of the successful candidates will be prepared on the total score obtained by them in Tier I and Tier II exams.

Based on the cut-off fixed by the Commission, 5,766 candidates have qualified (provisionally) for Skill Test for the post of DEO in C&AG, 344 candidates have qualified (provisionally) for Skill Test for the post of DEO in Departments other than C&AG, and 41,326 have qualified (provisionally) for Typing Test for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant/ LDC/Court Clerk.

SSC conducts Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exams amongst many to recruit candidates for various government departments for Group B non-gazette and Group C non-technical vacancies across . As per the Staff Selection Commission, the candidates who will successfully make it to the final list of recruitment will be appointed in different government departments.

Step 2: Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination, 2016 – Declaration of final result for recruitment to the posts of Lower Division Clerk, Court Clerk, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator

Step 3: A page will open with write-up and result details.
