One of the Maharatna of India, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has put out notification for the recruitment of young engineers with B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil and Electronics & Telecommunication for the post of Grade A officers. As per details available in the brochure, HPCL will fill Grade A officers post through GATE 2018 score. Company has not yet announce the number of vacancy it has. The online link for application form will be activated on Jan 12, 2018.
HPCL has huge marketing network which is consists of 13 Zonal offices in major cities and 106 Regional Offices facilitated by a Supply and Distribution infrastructure comprising of Terminals, Pipeline networks, Aviation Service Stations, LPG Bottling Plants, Inland Relay Depots & Retail Outlets, Lube and LPG Distributorships.
HPCL owns & operates 2 major refineries producing a wide variety of petroleum fuels & specialties, one in Mumbai having 7.5 MMTPA capacity and the other in Visakhapatnam with a capacity of 8.3 MMTPA. Project activities for enhancing the capacities of these refineries to 9.5 MMTPA and 15 MMTPA respectively are on track. HPCL in collaboration with M/s Mittal Energy Investments Pte. Ltd. operates a 9 MMTPA capacity Refinery at Bathinda and also holds an equity of about 16.95% in the 15 MMTPA Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd.
Also, HPCL in Joint Venture with Government of Rajasthan is setting up a 9 MMTPA refinery cum petrochemical complex at Barmer, Rajasthan. HPCL also owns and operates the largest Lube Refinery in India with a capacity of 428 TMT and continues to be the No. 1 Lube marketer in the country for the fourth consecutive year
GATE 2018 must for HPCL Grade Office A job
Candidates appearing in a GATE 2018 paper which is different from their Qualifying Engineering discipline will not be considered for selection. The Gate marks for the year 2018 only will be considered for this recruitment process. A candidate can apply against their discipline only. Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be allowed to sit for both roles. On the basis of valid GATE 2018 marks, qualified candidates will be called for further selection process in a predetermined ratio in order of the category-wise discipline- wise merit list.

- Click on the link to apply for Officers Post.
- Fill upthe Form carefully, uploada correct photo as it cannot be changed later.
- Submit your application.
- After Submission, you will receive a 12 digit Application number.
- Save the Application number. You will require it for further Selection Procedure.
- Take a printout.
- The Payment of fees will be done through SBI Challan/Online Payment.
- After filling the Application Form, take a printout of the 2 part Challan Form.
