Deskera has entered into a partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur to provide SMEs of Southeast Asia and India access to commercial and technical research opportunities.
As part of this partnership, over 100,000 SMEs associated with Deskera will be able to benefit from modern and futuristic facilities offered by IIT Kanpur for high-level study on mission critical industries such as manufacturing, aviation, logistics, and supply chain.

According to a World Bank study, there are 365-445 million formal and informal MSMEs in emerging markets of which the former contributes up to 60% of total employment and 40% of national income (GDP) in emerging economies.
