Bangladesh: Nagad offers attractive discount on mobile phone recharge

The Postal Department's mobile financial service 'Nagad' is offering attractive discounts and cashback on mobile phone recharge.

— The Postal Department’s ‘Nagad’ is offering attractive discounts and cashback on mobile phone recharge. The country’s second-largest mobile financial service provider recently launched a dubbed ‘More Profits in Desi Nagad‘ that focuses on making mobile phone recharge easier and more affordable for all users.

Also, from opening a Nagad account to easily transferring funds from a bank to a Nagad account, sending money at no additional cost, and paying unlimited bills for online shopping, electricity, gas, WASA, and broadband, among other services, are all billed for free in views of ongoing healthcare pandemic, said the company.

Additionally, customers can easily access a variety of services through ‘Nagad,’ including charitable donations, school and college salary payments, payment of various online registration fees, and payment of Covid Test fees, the company informed.

“Nagad has been working to make people’s lives easier with the touch of digital technology,” said Tanvir A Mishuk, managing director of Nagad.

In continuation, mobile recharge from Nagad has been simplified and made more affordable, he added, noting that people can access all services from their homes.

“I believe that our efforts will contribute significantly to keeping people connected even when they are physically separated,” he said.
