Digital submission will increase capital market transparency: BSEC chief

Dhaka — The Submission and Decision Platform is a big step for the capital market and it will increase accountability among all. It will increase the transparency and accountability of the country’s capital market through online submission, said Prof Dr. Sheikh Shamsuddin Ahmed, Commissioner of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission ().

He said, “The digital submission and decimation platform of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) was a dream come true. The skilled staff of DSE has worked tirelessly to realize this dream.”

“Data input and submission can be done very easily and in less time through this software. This will increase transparency and accountability in the capital market.”

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Executive Director. Saifur Rahman has noted this.

He also said this while addressing a special guest on the concluding day of a training workshop yesterday.

In line with the ‘Digital Bangladesh’ philosophy, DSE has created a platform for integrated online data collection, collection of all data, value-sensitive information, direct accounting to enhance the transparency and efficiency of various compliance of listed companies’ securities laws.
