At the end of the meeting, the director-general of the WTO Cell of the Ministry of Commerce told this information to the journalists.

Responding to a question from reporters about the three-week deadline, he said the first time for asset liabilities could be three to five days. Seven days may be given for giving customer information and three weeks for giving information to merchants.

Noting that asset-liability could be found immediately or quickly, the director-general of the WTO cell said that information would be sought initially. Thus, it has been decided to give three weeks time in different steps.

“We have not made a decision on what to do if Evaly cannot provide the data within three weeks,” he told reporters. When I sit down again, the decision will be made.

Ordinary people will join Evaly within three weeks of the government giving the account – what will be done for that – Hafizur Rahman said, “We have issued guidelines for that.” Hopefully, no one will run the by violating this guideline.

The Director-General of the WTO Cell also said that some cases were discussed in the meeting at the Department of Consumer Protection. He said six thousand 757 cases have been filed in the department.

Of these, four thousand 145 cases have been settled. Two thousand 612 cases are awaiting disposal. If a consumer feels harmed or deceived, they should file a lawsuit with the Department of Consumer Protection.

Then we get the signal, how many customers are being deceived and what kind of problems, what kind of liabilities are being created.

He said that if the merchants who gave them the goods did not receive the payment on time, then they should also take legal action. The ministry is trying to ensure that consumers and merchants are not harmed.

Notices will be issued in newspapers to warn consumers. Hafizur Rahman said consumers should be careful and cautious in making such purchases.
