Bangladeshi electronic manufacturing company Walton Hi-Tech Industries said that it has signed an agreement with e-commerce firm Walcart.

Dhaka — Bangladeshi electronic manufacturing company Walton Hi-Tech Industries said that it has signed an agreement with e-commerce firm which will enable it to sell its products and services on the latter’s platform.

The Walcart, a subsidiary of the Walton Group, is a full-fledged online marketing platform that is expected to be launched this year.

, Managing Director, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited and Sabiha Jarin Orna, Managing Director, Walcart signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Senior officials of both organizations were present during the ceremony.

Golam Murshed said e-commerce is a very promising sector. As a of technological advances, online shopping has become very popular all over the world. E-commerce has played a huge role in delivering products to consumers, especially in epidemics like Corona. In Bangladesh, the sector has not yet been able to gain customer confidence. We believe that Walcart will be able to fill that gap.

Sabiha Jarin Arna said that customers of Walcart will get not only Walton products but also products of all famous brands from home and abroad. Walcart will have more than 150 types of products and services, including fashion, lifestyle, electronics, food and beverages, sports and exercise. Walton joined Walcart through a formal agreement. In this way, Walcart will gradually sign agreements with all the popular brands and companies in the world.

He said Walcart would provide maximum customer service including fast delivery of products through a wide network across the country. Through this, the customer will get a unique and new experience in online shopping.
