Dhaka: An E-commerce site Qcoom has announced the closure of its office in notice after Orange’s fraud and office closure. They have announced the closure of physical support until 30 September.
They also forbade anyone to go to Gulshan Niketan’s office. Attempts were made to contact senior officials of the company to find out about the matter, but they declined to comment.
By writing Qcoom on their Facebook page for customers on Friday night about the closure of the office, it is to inform the esteemed customers that all the physical support of Qcoom will be closed till September 30 and all the officers and employees will provide services through the home office.
Therefore, all esteemed customers are requested not to come to the office of Qcoom. They further said that as per the decision of the authorities, the principal amount of the money paid for all the bike orders of Big Billion returns will be refunded.
No motorbike delivery will be offered in the Big Billion return offer. Delivery of goods other than bikes will continue in the normal process, they said.
Refunds can be requested through Google Forms for refunds, the company said. They also wrote for the purpose of customers, in this difficult time, the time has come to be by your side of e-commerce.
Meanwhile, the CID has already started a shadow investigation against the suspicious transactions of QCoom.
CID’s Special Superintendent of Police for Organized Crime Humayun Kabir said the CID’s shadow investigation against a total of eight e-commerce companies was still ongoing. They are Alesha Mart, Sirajganj Shopping, Aladdin’s Lamp, Boom Boom, Qcoom, Adian Mart, and Needs.com BD. CID is also investigating the cases against e-Orange and Dhamaka Shopping.
An employee, who did not want to be named, said that on the night of September 22, the company’s Head of PR Communications RJ Neerob and Managing Director and CEO Md. Ripon Mia will come to Facebook Live to clarify their position and answer customers’ questions.
However, there are allegations that Qcoom is still taking orders for the product.
