Technology firm has launched smart visiting cards mobile app. Company said that smart card will change the way in which people introduces themselves or their businesses. Both for individuals and business professional cards would be available on Google Play Store (Android) and Apple App Store (IOS).

One can not only chose from wide range of design/dynamic templates and facility of sharing visiting cards with saved contacts in one's phone but it also has features like attaching audio and video with cards, adding social media links like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn on the visiting card, facility of scanning & location tracking, any changes to the connection's card is notified, adding connection to phonebook, cloud storage availability and push notification facility to keep track of the card sharing.

“Very few people create personal cards with their personal address. But, Handshake is there to change this notion. Along with, giving some digitally strong card features like sharing card though mobile number, attaching audio & video, location tracker and scanning facility, third party sharing, meeting, the app have also come up with the unique concept of creating interactive visiting cards with their home addresses that can be shared with friends & family,” said Tanmay Vivek Ratnaparkhi, Founder, Handshake.

Company said that it has already achieved 20K download benchmark and still growing with an average download of 500 per day.

STMicro quarterly profit declines by 18.4% owing to slow demand

European chipmaker STMicroelectronics reported net revenues of $3.47 billion, marking an 18.4% decline compared to the same period last year. This downturn was particularly noticeable in the automotive and industrial sectors, although gains in personal electronics provided some balance.
