Mumbai-based Genesys International Corporation which deals in mapping, survey and geospatial has appointed Kuldeep Moholkar, as its Chief Executive Officer.

Mumbai-based which deals in mapping, survey and geospatial has appointed , as its Chief Executive Officer. Moholkar has joined from Wipro. During his close to a decade and a half tenure at the consulting firm, he was in leadership roles across Sales, Delivery, Consulting, Competency Management and Business Operations. In his most recent assignment, he was the COO – Wipro Japan. Additionally, he also headed Strategy and Sales Transformation for erstwhile Growth Markets group within the organization.

Sajid Malik, Chairman and Managing Director said, “Kuldeep's people-focused leadership style, industry expertise and market understanding will add on to Genesys's success. His focus on the future will help the company to achieve its long-term strategic growth.”

Since its inception, the company's focus has been on offering solutions to both consumer application and enterprise side in state of art remote sensing, LIDAR, aerial survey and photogrammetry solutions. Genesys has been delivering services to clients in USA, Europe, New Zealand, UAE and India the past 18 years with most of its client engagements running into multiyear relationships.

STMicro quarterly profit declines by 18.4% owing to slow demand

European chipmaker STMicroelectronics reported net revenues of $3.47 billion, marking an 18.4% decline compared to the same period last year. This downturn was particularly noticeable in the automotive and industrial sectors, although gains in personal electronics provided some balance.
