The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board will start the online choice submission for the second round of UP BTC 2017 against the vacant seats across the state on September 27.

The will start the online choice submission for the second round of UP BTC 2017 against the vacant seats across the state on September 27, said a notification. The candidates will be able to file their choice online at updeled.gov.in from September 27 to October 4. All the process of verification and admission will have to be completed by October 11 as from October 12, the academic session would start. The admission to UP.D.EL.ED courses for vacant seat will be done as per merit list.

The government has not given any information as to how many seats are vacant across the state but most likely the vacant seats matrix will be released before opening of online link for choice submission. Government of Uttar Pradesh began the online registration for UP BTC 2017 on 31 July and merit lists were released from August 27. As per the merit list online choice and seat allotment were done till September 22 across the state. However, like every year, some of the seats remain vacant, so government conducts second round of counselling for the same.

Diploma in Elementary Education is a two year professional course recognised by Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is a mandatory course to complete to teach in government aided and private colleges and institute in the state. This diploma course is pre-requisite training course to be able to teach from Class 1 to Class 8th. The aim of this course is to impart basic training certificate that is needed to train students in Class 1 to Class 8th.

Download UP BTC Merit List 2017

  • Rank 1-40000
  • Rank 40001-100000
  • Ranks 100001-190000
  • Rank 190001-300000

All the candidates whose name appears in the 2017 need to compulsorily fill the choice form online between September 27 to October 4. No other option would be given to candidates. Candidates can chose as many institutes as they want in their choice order but government will allocate one college or institutes as per availability.

Allotment letter issued by government can be printed by paying fees of Rs 2,000 online via link. This is a non-refundable fees. Once allotment letter is printed, candidates need to visit the allotted training institute with all required documents to get the admission by October 11.

  • BTC 2017 1st Counseling: 28 Aug 2017 to 08 Sep 2017
  • Allotment of College: till 15 Sep 2017
  • Document verification: 1 to 21 September 2017
  • Closing date of Admission Process and Document Assessment in 1st counselling: till 22 Sep 2017
  • 2nd Counseling for the Vacant Seats: 27 Sep 2017 to 04 Oct 2017
  • Admission Process and Document Assessment Last Date in the allotted college (2nd Round): 11 Oct 2017
  • Starting date of UP BTC 2017: 12 Oct 2017
